Our Aboriginal students, student leaders, SRC and Community Members along with staff and representatives from Aunty Calita Murray and Aunty Olivia Patten, Aboriginal Community Liaison Officers from the NSW Department of Education came together to celebrate culture and community.
On the day the students worked together to create a Marrickville West PS Acknowledgement of Country - that reflects our committment to Community, the land and the connection our First Nations peoples have in this country.
We want to thank Aunty Linda, Aunty Marg, Ms Purple, Ms Flower and Ms Penfold for your support and guidance. We are very proud of the end result.
