Daffodil Day and Bear Cottage fundraiser

We raised $302  for Bear Cottage and $395 For the Cancer Council.

Special acknowledgement must go to:

• Our SRC for their organisation, presentation and sales on the day

• the Norman family who gave us our inspiration and continue to courageously support this event each year

• Friends of Jack who bravely shared their memories during our special assembly

• Year 2 students led by Sophie Norman who independently organised a cake, lemonade and pretzel stall that added $100 to the funds collected.

• The many generous families and students from Marrickville West who donated on the day and over the days following.
  Alby gave a total of $27 including $20 given to him for his birthday. “These kids need the money more than I do”, he told Ms Ling.

• The parents and grandparents who worked so hard to find costumes for the hundreds of little “superheros” who helped add such colour and excitement to the event
